The Rome Mens Ravine is a versatile all mountain board that blends a playful personality with serious performance and can handle anything from fresh corduroy in the morning to the aftermath of an overnight snowstorm. Built with a freestyle focused camber profile that combines a rockered nose with positive camber underfoot it floats through deep snow while staying responsive on hardpack. For even more float, the Directional Diamond 3D nose and tapered shape help the board upright and initiate smooth, effortless turns, while Carbon HotRod reinforcements add crisp response and lively energy.

Board Type: Freeride-Powder

Freeride snowboards are built for steeper, off-piste terrain. These boards are ideal for aggressive riding and usually for more advanced riders.

Powder snowboards are designed for deep snow. Generally these boards feature a directional shape with a tapered tail for better float and ease of riding.

Flex: 6/10 (1=soft, 10=stiff)

Offering a balanced blend of flexibility and stiffness, mid-flex boards are versatile and suitable for all-mountain riding. They provide enough responsiveness for carving while maintaining some forgiveness for playful or casual riding.

A tapered directional snowboard features a shape where the tail is narrower than the nose, providing enhanced control and stability in deeper snow. This All Mountain designed camber features a rockered nose, flat under the front foot, and positive camber in the tail.

Width: Standard, Wide

Standard width boards deliver exceptional edge-to-edge quickness and responsiveness while providing enough platform space for riders with average boot sizes.

Wide boards are for those with large boot sizes and provide extra flotation, reduced drag, and never feel clunky or cumbersome underfoot.

Sidecut: Tri-Radial Sidecut

By using three radii to create a complete curve, the Tri-Radial Sidecut uses a wider radius in the nose and tail of the board while having a tighter radius throughout the middle. It prevents over turning, hang ups, and offers a more natural turn initiation.

Inserts: 2x4 Inserts

These offer a tighter hole pattern, allowing for more precise stance adjustments. They're common on modern boards and ideal for riders who want fine-tuned positioning and can be used with any binding with a standard or mini disk.

Board Construction

Laminate: Triax Upper Glass, Biax Lower Glass, Double Directional Carbon HotRod

Triaxial Fiberglass that runs in three different angles above the core for torsional rigidity and adds extra snap to the board.

Biaxial Fiberglass laid at two different angles below the core that offers a more torsionally playful board that is easier to press.

Two responsive and poppy Carbon HotRod in the tail of the board offer extra stability and pop when it is needed most.

Core: Pop Core

The Pop Core offers versatile and durable construction that is made of alternating 20mm wide Poplar and Paulownia wood strips.

Base: SinterStrong Base

A low maintenance sintered base that is extremely versatile and fast.
