A longtime favorite at evo and the Pacific Northwest in general, the Armada ARV 106 Black Edition Skis get a fresh new "all business" look. This is one of the most balanced freeride skis we know of, built to take the abuse of the park and head back to the top of the mountain for pow laps over and over again. As usual, the ARV 106 starts with a Poplar wood core (now with an Ash binding insert) and adds W3Dgewall construction with thick 2.5 Impact Edges to take the stress of hard landings and park features.
Rocker Profile
AR Freestyle Rocker – Rockered tips and tails paired with positive camber underfoot give the ski easy handling in variable snow while still locking into a confident carve when you need it. Built to turn the entire mountain into a freestyle playground.

Poplar Wood Core – A full poplar construction that delivers stability, smooth power, and predictable feel across all snow conditions.

Sidewalls
w3Dgewall Construction – A fully 3D-molded, injected sidewall that mechanically bonds to the core for a stronger, more uniform connection. Extra material reinforcement boosts durability, while tapered 3D shaping in the tip and tail improves edge grip and reduces weight.
Base
S7 Base – A tough, low-maintenance base with a speed additive for fast glide.
Edges
2.5 Impact Edge – Oversized, heat-treated edges engineered to withstand heavy impacts and aggressive park or all-mountain use.
Binding Compatibility
Choose a brake width equal to, or up to 15 mm wider than, the ski’s waist width.
