Women2Women: 10 Years of Empowering Women in Skiing

Ten years ago, we had a simple but powerful idea: what if we built a program that supported women in skiing from every angle—gear, education, inspiration, and community?

We put that idea into action, and today Women2Women is still going strong—helping make the mountain a more inclusive, welcoming, and fun place for women, no matter their level of experience.

A Decade of Progress

To celebrate our 10-year milestone, we teamed up with artist Malia Reeves to create a special-edition graphic for the Black Pearl 88—one of the most iconic skis in the industry.

For each pair sold, $125 goes back into the Blizzard Tecnica Hilaree Nelson Professional Development Program, which funds training and certifications for women in avalanche safety, ski instruction, guiding, and more.

Whether it’s a first-time course or a top-level certification, the program encourages women to reach for their goals.

Over the past five years, we’ve received more than 2,200 applications and supported 103 women worldwide with over $120,000 in funding and gear. Every step forward matters—because when more women step into leadership, it inspires others to do the same.

We’re so grateful for your support in this journey.
Thanks for being part of the celebration—and here’s to the next decade of Women2Women: ALL. OUT.

About the Artist: Malia Reeves

Malia Reeves is a Taos native who grew up exploring the beautiful mountains of New Mexico.

After leaving home early to complete her high school education at an international boarding school in Wales, UK, she attended Dartmouth College in New Hampshire, where she became actively involved in the Dartmouth Outing Club.

Before long, Malia was a certified college leader in rock climbing, mountain biking, and backcountry skiing. After earning her degree in Fine Arts, she returned home to Taos, thriving on a seasonal lifestyle—working winters as a Ski Patroller at Taos Ski Valley, summers guiding teen adventure trips around the world, and off-seasons creating and exhibiting her artwork.

Malia’s passion for outdoor education stems from her love of sharing the beauty and exhilaration of the outdoors with others.

About the Art

“The top mountains are the Kaiser Mountains near Mittersill.
The bottom mountain is Cinque Torri in the Dolomites.
The flowers are Snow Roses and Snow Drops—wildflowers that bloom through the snow in the Alps.

I love the idea of delicate, beautiful flowers that are strong and hardy enough to thrive in snow and alpine climates.

And the wolves, of course, are the W2W pack—each with its own personality and look. Whether a woman feels more kinship with the tough little wildflower or the prowling wolf, we all love the mountains and the snow!

I wanted a more vibrant and lively design for this one, reflecting the energy that W2W inspires and the range of women it represents.”
