Another Enforcer: The 2021 Nordica Enforcer 104 Free skis return this year with a graphic update but remains the same strong performer that it was the year before. With a smashing success in its first year, the 104 blends the difference between the 100 and the 110 in the Enforcer line. You could call it a more playful 100 or a nimbler 110, but either way, it's got a lot going for it. Still built with the Enforcer construction of a wood core and two sheets of metal, the 104 Free is a lot stiffer and more responsive than a lot of skiers give it credit for, but the deeper rocker profiles make it easier to enter, engage, and release from turns. Still an incredible amount of power can be generated from this build but the shape and profile make it enter that freeride realm versus the all-mountain moniker of the 100. But these things are all about fun and performance, and in that regard, these things are a better choice than pretty much anything else out there on the market today. Steeps, bumps, and trees will be no match for the Enforcer 104 and although they're on the stiff side for a playful ski, they're certainly on the higher-performing side of the ski industry. Advanced and expert skiers will get the best response and performance out of these skis, in anything from firm groomers to waist-deep snow. They're just about as fun as it gets.
